Soon winter will be coming; fall is here!
Then spring, then summer, and it will be back,
And gone will be another hasty year,
But left with us the thoughts of things we lack.

This makes some wonder why life ends so fast;
This makes some shudder at the thought of death;
This makes some try and make the moments last,
While we should just enjoy our every breath.

“Then spring, then summer, and it will be back…”
This makes some shudder at the thought of death;
But left with us the thoughts of things we lack.
While we should just enjoy our every breath.

This makes some wonder why life ends so fast;
“And gone will be another hasty year!”
This makes some try and make the moments last,
“Soon winter will be coming; fall is here!”

Be ready for each moment to end fast:
The only way to make it truly last.
