Cold

In the realm of love, a tragic tale unfolds,
Of a man whose heart turned icy, callous, and cold.
With power in his hands and darkness in his eyes,
He wielded his authority, leaving hearts to agonize.

He promised her the world, with love so sweetly feigned,
But behind closed doors, his true nature unrestrained.
His words like poison, dripping with manipulation,
Slowly shattering her spirit, causing devastation.

Abusing his power, he controlled her with fear,
Leaving wounds unseen, scars only she could hear.
His actions left her broken, her spirit worn,
As he reveled in his dominion, his heart so torn.

She pleaded for affection, for kindness and respect,
But he basked in his control, a selfish architect.
With every blow delivered, her heart broke anew,
Trapped in a cycle of abuse, her soul askew.

Yet, through the darkness, a flicker of hope still shone,
A strength within her, refusing to be overthrown.
Her heart, once shattered, started to mend,
As she vowed to break free, her torment to transcend.

She mustered courage and sought refuge in the light,
Finding solace and support, banishing the endless night.
The scars, though etched, became symbols of her might,
A survivor rising from the ashes, ready to ignite.

For every woman who has suffered in silence and pain,
Know that you possess resilience, your spirit will regain.
No man's abuse of power can extinguish your flame,
For you hold the strength to claim victory over the game.

And to the abuser, blinded by your sickening power,
Know that your actions will not be forgotten, not this hour.
Your darkness will be unveiled, your cruelty laid bare,
And karma will find you, its justice, cruel and fair.
