The wind it blows

The wind it blows thru the leaves
the scent of flowers
It carries with its breeze,
This time of year must be the best
when all when all the earth
wakes from its rest.

The wind it blows
so gently through my hair
warm and free without a care.
I turned to see where it had gone,
all that was left was a few leaves floating on  the pond
and a ripple of a wave to trace its path.
