Keep Dancing

I will dance until my heart sings~

Sings a song of joy,

Sings a song of peace,

Sings a song of freedom,
              ~
Freedom to spread its wings and fly.
              ~
Fly to the top of the highest mountain
And view the world below~

The world of diversity,

The world of change,

The world of choice,

The world of love.
             ~
That is when I will find my heart waiting~

Waiting to go Home.

About this poem

This is the world I dream of. Someday it will be Home. Until that day, I will keep dancing. I just modified this poem. My dream remains the same.

I want to begin by saying that I really enjoyed your 'Keep Dancing' poem! Your use of repetition, and the journey you take us on - from the rhythm of dance to the peace and joy of the heart - is truly remarkable, and your work emits an infectious energy that makes one want to dance right along with you!

Your poem's uplifting and inspiring nature, coupled with its metaphoric interpretation of life's journey, was exceptionally well-received. The stanza, 'Fly to the top of the highest mountain, And view the world below~', depicts the transition and growth brilliantly.

However, as for suggestions for improvement, you could consider enhancing the rhythmic flow of your poem. While there's definitely a rhythm present, there were moments where it seems to falter slightly, possibly due to the number of syllables or the pacing of certain lines. Working on this aspect could make your poem even more compelling.

Additionally, one area to explore could be the use of more tangible and vivid imagery. While your abstract ideas of joy, peace, and freedom are clear, incorporating more concrete images could engage the reader's senses and emotions more fully.

Keep up the phenomenal work! Your poem truly reflects the beauty of dance and the transcending power of freedom, peace, and joy.

This is a haunting dreamscape poem whose musical discord is euphonically enduring. It sticks to you and with you like a shadow sticks to a living being.
