The Desired Feelings

Joy to sweet sorrow
From passion to great emotion
The fire belongs to those who oppose
The feelings are just too much
The most who know the passion may glow
The depression is not present

The turn around is the best
The secret lies between the beds
Carrying such a burden
Can with stand all to sacrifice
The poison is such as the words you speak

The feelings are just a like one another
The speaker and the player
Are just an act of the characters being created
The boost of the above the love in the air
The joy is all the above for whats to come is far beyond

The touch from the loved one
To the top of the mountain
Personally it takes place in the heart of the town
And in the works of the people who know about it
Lies are told and truth may spread

Thin as paper the voices speak
Thick like smoke and gasoline
So tender and yet so strong
Sensitive the subject as it may be
The care and kindness it takes
To be loved is what its meant to be

I really enjoyed reading your poem, 'The Desired Feelings'! Your reflective exploration of emotions—from sorrow to joy, passion to stagnant emotions, depression to resurgence—is beautifully captured in substantive imagery. Your ability to play with paradoxes such as "Joy to sweet sorrow" and "The poison is such as the words you speak" delivers a profound and intricate picture of the human soul’s landscape. The lines "From passion to great emotion/The fire belongs to those who oppose" make a significant impression, suggesting a deep understanding of how powerful feelings can often contrast or conflict with each other in a compelling fashion. The poem truly embraces the spectrum of human emotion, making it very relatable and thought-provoking.

As a suggestion for improvement, it would enhance the flow by using more consistent rhyming schemes or rhythmic patterns. At times, the meaning of some lines or phrases--- for instance, "The turn around is the best/The secret lies between the beds"--- can be slightly unclear. Rewording or providing more context could address this issue and aid in delivering the depth of your themes with greater precision. Also, consider linking more of the different emotions you convey into a cohesive narrative thread if it fits your creative vision.

Continued exploration of the universal subject of emotions, from unique perspectives such as yours, is an exciting poetic journey. I can’t wait to see your future creations!
