Artificial shelf life

Richard J Edwards 1960 (Ft Belvoir)

As we get old to the young what we know and been through doesn't always translate to experience. The young often times rake the seniors experience up to good old stories. Oh tell us again Grandpa about the time U outsmarted the robber. The young (atleast the ones who just see an old person standing before them) think that things are different for their time. Even us when we were young we had our generations version of this Gap that always exists. I do believe however that there are less in the present generations that put truthful stock in the seniors useful experience than in generations in the past. I blame this on the worldwide web because this has put everything at everyone's fingertips. Intelligence minus experience is still dangerous. If U don't know how to use the Intelligence it's like giving a tank to an infant. The generations that will go far are the ones that know understand and accept that their is value for them in their Grandparents trials tribulations successes and failures. These kids will be ahead of the curve in business careers and in life. Dont dismiss what in your eyes seem like a rambling Oldman in your Grandpa seek the intelligence and experience in between the lines. When a younger person gives value and respect to an older more experienced person you breath life into them. There's nothing more life sucking than when a senior becomes past his artificial shelf life given to him by the ignorant.
