Insecure mothers

Insecure Mothers
Berating and chipping away at her daughters confidence.
A young child just trying to survive the storm of an insecure mother.
This navigation created resilience in this young daughter.
This young daughter’s strength will never be broken. For in her bravery, her spirit grew.
She knew one day the only person who could save her from an insecure mother is her own bravery.
In this tale of strife and dissolve lies a beautiful daughter who escaped the death grip of her insecure mother.

Hey! Happy to see you posting more. What inspired this piece? A true story? A friend or someone you know?

It always warms my heart that poets who usually don’t share their works, or who are reluctant to, break through and decide to let the world see their creative output. It can be scary, but from what I’ve experienced and have seen I can also be liberating … and sometimes healing.

it’s very nice too share my emotions, feelings and experiences into stories.
This is a personal experience that I witness and see from the relationship from my daughters mother and my daughter.

Thank you so much brother means a lot.
