What have we done

I sit and watch the world go by,
And wonder what have we done?
What have we done to the world?
Our children don't go outside to play or won't.
They would rather stay inside and play videogames.
Our parents can't cook,
They would rather go through drive thru.
And we wonder why we are all over weight.
Door dash will bring it to us, so we don't have to leave the house.
No one cares about the country,
What happened to: by the people, for the people, of the people?
We've forgotten what that means.
No cares about their neighbors, all they care about is themselves and what's in it for me.
So, I ask again, what have we done?
