Pain of A Broken Heart

Mandy Lynn Snow 1987 (Louisiana)

Dear Lord,

Why is there such thing as pain?
Why do my tears fall like rain?
The pain that I am feeling, deep in my heart,
Seems to be tearing my world apart.
I feel so abandoned and also alone.
When I need someone there, they always seem to be gone.
Does anyone else feel the pain like I do?
The only person that can help me is YOU!
I fall to my knees, Lord, I'm begging you please.
Do you see it as it slashes, straight through my soul?
I feel my heart beginning to turn cold.
Please make it stop and never again to start.
The worst pain you can suffer from, is the pain of a broken heart.

Mandy Lynn Snow

My name is Mandy Snow. I was born and raised in Louisiana. My fiance, myself, and our 2 children still reside in Louisiana where we have owned and operated a successful landscaping/maintenance business for the past decade. In my free time I enjoy arts and crafts, the outdoors, spending time with my family, singing, dancing, music and writing poetry and lyrics. Writing was always a huge part of my life because it helped me to express my feelings in situations where I could not verbally do it myself. more…
