Only in my memories

A maladoptive dream I had yesterday and reminisce about today,
A person who made everyday feel like Valentine's day.
That's what you are to me now.
From being  the light in my life to being a bittersweet memory I want to forget
You're now a mistake I regret
Just a ghost from my past,
Maybe what we had was only lust
Because it ended so fast.
Faster than I had anticipated,
You gave me memories I hope to cherish
And gave me memories I wish to erase.
In my book of memories,
You're the chapter I will always revisit
Even though I don't wish to reread it.
I know I should let you go,I have to
Because what we had is no more.
You gave me worst of you
But there's still so I wish you knew.
I want to forget you, I have to
Because to me you're dead and this is just the ghost of you.
I wish I could say I miss you
But how can I miss you?
When you're always in my memories
Singing to me your heavenly melodies.
