I’m Hanging On

I have a mansion waiting for me
But if I end it today I won’t get the keys
I’m still toeing the edge of the line
Tryin’ to calm my raging mind

I’m hanging on
To the light hope comes from
When my mind deceives me
Your spirit hugs my soul
and frees me
I’m hanging on
I’m hanging on
I’m hanging on

Clinging by the tips of my nails
Watching my life slide off the rails
My Mind seethes but soul seeks comfort
Hanging on till I’m triumphant

I’m hanging on
To the light hope is from
When my mind deceives me
Your spirit hugs my soul
and frees me
I’m hanging on
I’m hanging on
I’m hanging on

Bridge:
Sin defeated on an old Wooden cross
thoughts deceive me but my soul’s not lost
All because you paid my cost
Free from death’s sting your blood washed
My soul white as snow
My mind is weary but now I know
The keys to my mansion is my Faith
So I’m hanging on
I’m hanging on
I’m hanging on
Until you come
