 9 am homeless
and can not work
I have poor health,
the system is a jerk.
Finding no help at all
Out of places to call
.
No friend to turn to
What can I do?
Shelters stay full
But haters are plentiful
Everyone assumes I'm a lushor addicted to some rush
I'm neither an addict nor drunk
I just have no place to bunk
My health is bad but
That don't make. Me a slut
Remember everyone
When the day is done
You too could end up like me
Maybe you lost your job
Or you lost your heartthrob
Maybe because of fire
Or your own desires
Whatever the cause is
You too can come to this
So help where you can
Even just a kind hand
A friendly ear
Or a tiny bit of cheat
A little helps A lot
When nothing is all you got.
