my bittersweet love
if we can both be in white
so lawless my love

About this poem

I actually wrote this at a wedding because this was an awakening moment that made me realize my parents won't be at my wedding. This is a haiku about a wlw (woman loving woman) couple on their wedding day. Gay marriage is not so legalized around the world hence this poem's existence.
