Sun Showers

Saloni Gode 2005 (dombivli)

Crystals, crystals, falling from the sky;
I wish I had known where they stand.
A moment of magic, few at a time,
Oh, to just be a part of them!
So true to their light, with a variant aura,
why are you here, what are you?
Are you the pain of someone's broken dreams?
Or the bliss of pure delusion?
Are you the smile of victory?
Or a projection of human beauty?
Crystals, crystals, you are so human,
Painting rainbows, before you unite with the ground,
What are you, where do you come from,
I wish I had known...

About this poem

The poem is written by me and is really special to me. It speaks about life and its worth through the representation of sun showers, that involve each droplet falling in a fraction of a second but showing its magic. Us humans, with so much time on our hands, can do wonders and draw our own little rainbows with the spectrum that we like, just like a droplet with a variant aura.
