Daily Swim and Locker Room

Each morning's gleam,
A swimmer's ritual, a recu’ring theme.
In the lock’r room, a diverse brigade,
All walks of life, in various shades.

Towels akimbo, and slippers askew,
In this naked symphony, we rendezvo’s.
From baristas to bakers, teachers to tanners,
The naked tatto’ed truth is our common banner.

A lawyer might chat with a gardener so wise,
While a plumber and doctor exchange advice.
In this room, titles and status unwind,
Inspiration varies from fear of frailty to bodily glory, in a state of undress combined.

In the steamy whirlpool, we merrily wade,
A bubbling cauldron, where stories cascade.
A carpenter's tale, a poet's new rhyme,
In the warm swirl, we share the sublime.

With goggles and swim caps left behind,
Here, we're just raw, unique and kind.
In gym's routine, with nothi’g to hide we find a bond,
Where naked truths in laughter respond.

So here's to the gym and its daily delight,
In the locker room's chatter, both day and night.
A whirlpool of stories, in laughter we swoon,
In the routine of life, we find our commune.
