I do not know the life you've had;
We met not long ago.
Don't know if it was good or bad,
Just things you chose to show.

I did not have your parents or
Events that shaped each day.
I cannot guess 'bout life before,
Or analyze your way.

I will accept what I have seen
And all that I have heard
From you and I truly mean
I'll take you at your word.
