Wounded Heathens

Anti-this and that.
While in the midst,
Of performing witnessed acts of betrayal.
Treason.
And award winning portrayals of victimhood.

Wounded.
Sniffling heathens.
Caught being self righteous in broad daylight.
Choosing to pick amongst those left loyal,
Who next to backbite and poison...
Their credibility.

Wounded.
Perpetrators of wholesome pretentiousness.
Claiming themselves,
To be judged unfairly by rules and laws.
Only used when they have been accused,
Of committing 'alleged'...
Minor juvenile misdemeanors.
Forgiven to forget.
When those of ethnic diversity,
Are known to have been the real culprits.

As unbelievable,
Your background to live it has been to be.
Of deception, fraud, corruption.
And other countless criminal misdeeds.
You actually expect the majority of the people,
To continue to buy and accept...
Lies you tell and sell for profit.
Your profit.
And at the expense of everyone else.
Knowing what you do,
Is illegal merchandising.

'Your Honor?
I have been helplessly blessed,
With extreme intelligence.
I was born with a gift.
And groomed from birth,
To use my talents as I see fit.'

You...
Alone, like a devastating storm,
Have ruined the credibility and lives...
Of so many people.
Who pledged their loyalty and allegiance.
To you.
As if you are...

'I know.
The 'IT'.
THE ONE AND ONLY.
Your Honor?
I have rehearsed and practiced humility.
I have,
Failed to walk on water.
But...
My fans demand to idolize and worship me.
And...
That kind of love is a terrible thing to waste.
Especially in ways they know too well.
From where their blessings flow!'

What...
Are we going to do with you?
You seem to thrive on humiliation.

'Look.
I could care less about what you've heard.
Or what the rumors are.
I am not about that 'kinky' stuff.
Although...
I must say to confess and admit,
I am patiently learning to value...
The meaning of rehabilitation.
Yet...
Adjusting to adapt,
Can be a painful experience.
And that to experience is a slow process.
Only time to give it accommodates.'

I see you point.
How about twenty years?
Is that enough time?
Just request more.
And I promise this wish will be bestowed.
As a gift to consider it that way.
This...
Is a courtroom.
Those folks sitting over there?
They are the jury.
And I am the judge!
