World War IX!

A clenched fist could conquer for a fleeting time,
To resolutions that bind and realign.

The battle lies not in the brawl,
But in the minds that stand or fall,
Against the surge of vengeful might,
Choosing empathy, seeking the light.

No more the fists, no more the hate,
A shift within, a different state.
Problems solved with words and care,
Kindness prevailing, a bond to repair.

Through battles fought within the mind,
The path of peace it sought to find,
The echoes of a gentler voice,
Drowned out the clamor, noise, and choice.

Instead of malice and fighting to win.
For aggression's grip, it did release,
And conflicts waned, the wars did cease,
Proving aggression's reign could end.
