Our love of life

Charles Fields II 1955 (Fort Bragg, NC)

With relativity as written in raindrops.

As revolving patterns of being
 with DNA working miracles

Through the mystery of life
performing the dance

we do of our will and calling,
 as we build

 a future between us
shaped by an ancient hand

with an unseen vision
lit by a glimmer of hope

throughout our lives
as we struggle to understand

our love of life
and the things we do

which define our will to live
As catalysts of a living sand

we dance upon a stage
Creating a mosaic

that’s forever being portrayed...
Against an ever changing view

as we sing our song
We play our part

as sparks of living energy
Becoming a part of the landscape,

as we sing the song of love
and if flowers of life bearing fruit

Our aural echoes dance on astral planes
Written into forever

even as we are passing in review
with a pulse of waves within

in constant ebb and rise
as we relate to one another

with our emotions given life
or are we cast adrift

as leaves tossed by the winds
 churning our emotions

while adrift on starlight tides
reflecting of our most treasured moments

spent lost and found
in those thoughts nearest,

dearest to our hearts
Most buoyant on our minds,

converging into a flow, as friends
gently pouring our emotions into a quiet stream

Seemingly unbound by space or time
So calm serene where passions flow

In these loving dreams of being
Of all we know…

of

Our love of life
