He Will Seat Me With Princes

You can treat me with scorn
you can treat me with disdain
you can insult me
bully me
 because
 you are rich,
powerful and influential.

Yes, you can belittle me
 because you have pedigree,
remember there is God(Chukwu).

But, remember there is God;
he has not forgotten me.
he has not abandoned me;
he will not forget me;
he will not reject me

Just one Day
My Story will change:
God will wipe away my fears
He will put a smile on my face.
He will lift me from the dungeon
and seat me with Dangote, Adenuga and Peter Obi.

Just One Day
 my story will change;
The story of Joseph changed.
The story of Jabez changed
The story of Mephiboseth changed.

Despite the great height
you have attained
you can fall

Nebuchadnezz fell
Babylon fell
Tyre and Sidon fell.
No Condition is Permanent.

About this poem

There is the downtrodden in every society. Nebot in the Bible is a typical example. His vineyard was taken by Ahab, after he was killed. God later visited Ahab and destroyed his family.
