Where Is The Substance

Giving the image.
And presentation of being capable,
Of delivering the substance with it.
Where is the substance?
Where is the meat of it?
Nowhere seen that the image should feed.
To leave the people reaching,
Deep into their nearly empty pockets.
Hoping a dime or two could be used,
By someone they support and endorse,
Telling them to keep their hopes alive.
As this image giver aboards a private plane.
Then observed to see witnessed,
The giver of images lift...
