World I knew

The first time I had opened my eyes
I knew nothing because I was too young
I grew in a life that I never knew
What do you do
When life gives you a promise
That does not belong to you ?
Yes I did not seek for what was mine
But what was mine pulled me
From where I was
The world that now I know
And the world that I would
One day say that it was
The only world that I knew
That's where gravity pulled me to
Destructive was the world that I knew
Depression was what I earned from it
A short life was what I wished from it
Too young with a suicidal mentality
A book could come out of the world
That I only knew
Surprisingly I became wise
It raised me to become the person
That I am

About this poem

It is about the two lives that I had lived on earth and how the one that I ended up with turned out to be.
