Wishing You Were Here

Stacey Branco 1982 (Honolulu)

I’ll never forget the day
I stood over you
Waiting for you to take a breathe
Wishing you would wake up,
Inside I’m begging and pleading
Please don’t leave me
I love you so much.
I can’t stop the pain inside
Why did you have to go?
Why did you have to go when
We needed you the most?
