Wide eyed and blind



In her eyes i see red not like blood Red stain ,no,no more like that of a rose petal ,not the warm feel of pain but the  hurt  from frozen metal, I see her warm gaze as I feel her cold stare within arms reach but in her mind she could be anwhere and in mine she seems too be everywhere

About this poem

Had a rough night with thr woman I love we been fighting alot and we're taking alot of hits from life at her end and mine and the night I wrote this she had gotten bad news about her dad's diagnosis we had been fighting right before finding out and she was crying I was speechless until the words just fel out of my mouth she cried and wrote it down .
