The Pencil

THE PENCIL
Give me the Pencil
It is a stick fine for working
Strong children have little sleep
There is power in the Pencil

About this poem

As a child poet, this poem intend to communicate the right to demand for what belong to you. The demand must consist in the reason to work for the benefit of humanity. It is clear in the line of this poem that laziness should not a habit of people who undertake to serve the society. The poem is not mincing words to say that there is power when we serve others or undertake to do social works/occupation sincerely. Politician also in contemplation.
