I'm a nomad when it comes to Friends.
Anxieties, insecurities, self obsession
Runs my mind.
Emotions felt so deep,
That everything resonates with
My very soul.
Friends for a season
Has become my reason,
For drifting
Slipping through my fingers
Never to stay
Only to quell my doubts.

About this poem

I have been through some rough friendship fallouts and have a difficult time keeping new friends around. This poem expresses my issue with self growth and friends through simple language and a unique format.
