Love & loneliness

Love
The Broken silence in the night
Laughter so sweet it rolls of the tongue
Nights When subtle conversations save me
And isn’t for the weakest
And ‘I’m alone’ is never an option
When changing is the only solution
Like a movie that never ends
Watching you would not be a problem
My eyes are forever fixated
On your success
In sickness and health
Love is forever

                             Loneliness
When all is quiet
There’s no buzz to take away the dark
There’s no missed calls
No one wants to talk
Family never sticks together
Or at least it seems that way
When gettin out of bed is a mission
And you battle every morning
When all is lost
That’s loneliness
The pursuit of finding someone

About this poem

I wanted to kinda get both views of the photo that I tried to create one where love and warmth surrounds you and the other where it’s not there but there’s always a pursuit of that warmth even in the cold dark corner we hide in sometimes.
