Hope's existence everywhere

Awaits for every moment,
Counts every minute,
In search of the perfect timing

Dream deeply through hours,
Replenish memories, of happy ones.
And sad ones.

Wishes that cannot be defined
As an unequivocal, because of it’s
Variable and veer.

Venturesome, like a forbidden stones in
backyards,
Timid appears, heart shattered
Behind the veil.

Moon stood guard in night,
Flash light, bright light in a darken sky.
Tiny sparkles of stars shoots and glows
On and Off every time.

In daylight, red, orange and yellow in a display,
Spokes in differently in dates and time,
Also spokes in different language and
meanings.

A dark clouds with lighting strike about,
Encountered the resonance of war,
Between revenge and pain, suffer as anger
yap above the ground

In whatever matters we shape,
Our values have taken, that bearing over our
shoulders
A great burden, retouch by retaliation, there’s
kindness.

Kindness seeds of love,
Love leaves of faith
Faith branches the way of trust
Trust blossoms flower in there’s
Remains HOPE

Princess Susi Etelagi

My name is Princess Susi Etelagi, born in Pagopago American Samoa in November 3rd 2004. I left my home country ever since I was 8 and lived with my grandmother’s village more than 13 years till now. I never dreamed to become a writer and until my grandmother used to push myself to read books especially bible. Whereas she believed that “read to success” and never stopped punishing me if got lazy. Before I become a writer, I used to be lazy and of course I can read but never learned any words just yet. Until I turned 11 I tend to read a lot and learned new words and addicted to dictionary books and became a habits. My first haiku poem I wrote in 2017 was coconut tree in my Year 8 at Saleimoa Primary school. As throughout the years as I observed everything in surroundings in everywhere I go I jotted it down just to remind myself of what I will be capable of in the future. As I dream so much more and to delicate my great thanks to my loving grandmother Susi with her endless loving and support. more…
