finite possessions; infinite thought
shit was going good
but forget it
the devil talking on my shoulder
I should let it
get me to jump
words flow
like a streetsweeper
dumps
brrrat
gimme dat
understanding
of finite possessions
and infinite thought
with all the
good intentions
and destruction they wrought
plus the happily ever after
of never got caught
the once upon a time
of ducking from shots
you're supposed to build with your block
but there's where humanity starts
and savagery stops
its like they trapped in a room
and its locked
with no lights on
and they shocked
like they just found out
the hard place is made from the rock
that they stuck between
kna mean?
lost in the fragmentation
of the life I live
hurtling through the abyss
screaming I exist
god took a shot at me
and missed
he's mad
I seen the devil at his crib
and I took the Devil's bitch
and them niggas let me live
nigga I'm a bridge
just walk across
here every man a king
ain't no thing as boss
we all win
and we share the loss
and be yourself is on every page
of the catalog
graffiti everywhere
here the damsel
is born in the dragon's lair
they ain't playing fair
if it was any other way
I wouldn't have it
life without reflection
is hella tragic
have you believing in magic
late to Hogwarts
learning rules to quidditch
instead of understanding why Voldemort
even did it
or how Hagrid is worse the jar jar binks
they both foils who don't believe in what they think
they step in quicksand
and sink
never me though
word to Leto
I am not my father
I'm his son
and there sure as hell
ain't no footsteps
in the dunes I run
and my father
ain't teach me all the tunes I sung
well just one --
crying
feeling like I'm dying
its like flying
right after it stops
but before the drop
