Scotland

Steve Cochrane 1955 (Cape)

The Scottish wind is calling me
As it blows hard across the sea.
And calls my name quite loud.

It says to me, inside my mind,
"There is no greater place to find
Where ancestors were proud

Of Scotland beauty to behold
Including sunsets good as gold".
Someday with time to spare

I want to see the "Isle of Skye"
At least once before I die
And Glasgow while I'm there!
