One, Two, Three And More
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
One, two, three and more!
These are not the times.
No, they are not the times,
To look away pretending them...
Not here as they appear.
There is nothing about these times,
That has not been made very clear.
For many using opened eyes.
And minds to know them to be severe.
What was thought impossible,
To believe okay ignored.
Today has arrived at doorsteps,
Like no other time before.
Ignored.
Before.
But now these times,
Are knocking down...
Shut to lock those secret doors.
One, two, three and more.
What was thought impossible,
To believe okay ignored.
Today has arrived at doorsteps,
Like no other time before.
Gone ignored.
Before.
But today and now these times are knocking,
Down closed doors.
No longer leaving behind anyone to find,
Somebody else to judge.
No longer leaving behind anyone to find,
Somebody else to judge.
No longer leaving...
Anybody.
Somebody else to judge.
One, two, three and more.
Nobody left to judge.
No longer leaving,
Behind...
Anybody left to judge.
One, two, three and more.
Nobody left to judge!
Gone are the politicians who deceive.
Nobody left to judge.
Gone are religious, self righteous believers.
Nobody left to judge.
One, two, three then more.
Gone is a trust to judge!
Nobody.
One, two, three and more.
Who can be trusted to judge.
