Oh Hello Haiku

Beautiful woman
commanding my attention
from so far away

More than just your look
I can feel the gravity
pulling from your soul

Fighting the current
But can’t get my head above
the feelings to breathe

Situation bleak
as I stay here paralyzed
Unable to move

Thinking way too much
Without ever acting on
my wildest of dreams

If I never go
I stay safe but never know
our true potential

What’s a man to do
Such strong feelings about you
and my girlfriend too

Beautiful woman
complicating the feelings
that I thought I knew

Willpower stays strong
whenever you are not here
So please come too close

Overthink and flee.
Now with more time to wonder
just what we could be

Wishing in silence
Hoping I’m loud enough for
you to come see me
