Vagabond

Trish braun 2005 (Kolkata)

Little did he know that he was a vagabond.
Travelling through the endless path
Searching for the light that the light-house reflected
searching for the island he called home.
In his charming youth, he laughed
His innocence attracted the new-born sea wind.
The wind asked for his hand.
It promised to take him wherever he wanted.
The boy, now a man, shined
He shined brighter than the sun.
Rode the dashing wind
Moved to an unknown world full of new mysteries.
He sailed for eternity.
Came to know the unknown world
He wished to come back to his roots.
But the aged wind disappeared, leaving him all on his own.
His amusement at seeing new,
Made him lose the way back home.
No one is there to hold his hand anymore.
He is now an alone vagabond.
