SCARS BEHIND BEAUTY

SCARS BEHIND BEAUTY

Behind this beauty
Behind this charm you adore
Is the tale of hurt from the past
Completely hidden from the glare of human comprehension

Behind this soothing smile
The comforting laughter that radiates your path with confidence
Lies the untold story of torture
From excruciating experience of my life
Something you hardly know of

Deep down my heart
Is buried the painful ordeal of emprise
Something that brings Kings to their knees
And breaks down even the fittest
Scaring Angels to the core

What you see is but for the good of all
For behind the mask is the scariest
And the ugliest side of my life
Something society put me through
Yes, mortals taught me the bewailing side of life.

But I decided not to toe their line
I’ve resolved not to act same
That's why my sheen teeth show always
And my hands are always stretched
To welcome even the perpetrators of my pains
Why must I pay evil with evil?
Why must I show my weakness in revenge?

Now you see
Now you know
You didn’t know me until this day
For I am not what you think you know
I am a scar buried under a smile

Never ever dig deep
I am not Mr. Everyday Happiness.
