Pain to Pleasure.
From sorrow to happiness,
Two seas that never part,
We lessen the tumbles and turns,
By the way we build our ark.
And a lesson we must learn,
That everything will age,
When a region starts to rot,
It’s time for boards to change.
And make no mistake,
It’s not just pleasure that we seek,
It’s our job to embrace,
An inception of our art.
This addiction to pain.
That extends our elastic heart.
The catalyst of growth,
And the stories that we wrote.
There has to be a turn,
For these lessons to be learnt.
We awake to fall asleep.
We crouch down so we can leap.
We leave our homes and explore new towns,
We get lost just so we can be found.
We discover differences to be harmonious
And fight for love to battle loneliness.
And we must find and carry logs until we tire.
If we wish to set our souls on fire.
