LOVE BEYOND LIFE!

Sheela Devi 1955 (Trivandrum)

A soul that departed     wearly,reminisces,
A life it had down, on terrestrial land.
Youth and love occured in tandem, for him:
Both united unto a wedlock,in no time
Love flourished in true limits, unknown,
Vows were kept alive, for years to come.
Seven decades of undiluted blithe :
Severed off from the male love,  in haste!
His soul soared high, to a woeless land,
Bliss, but shunned its usual ephemeral role.
It seeked its physical bond on earth:
But ne'er once did it find that female self.
Time travelled with its break neck speed,
Tamed the soul to an invisible, earthly plight!
On a sunny bright winsome windy morn,
Shone a ray of hope, for the lost soul.
From amidst the clouds and brimming skies,
Thronged a beautiful shape, he knew.
Perplexed, he saw his lady love of yore,
Propelling joyous smile solely for him.
Floated it came towards his sensuous hug,
Gloated facetiously, to tickle his sense.
Closed she down here, her aging lids:
Kissed she goodbye to her lonely life.
Souls soared and waltzed in tandem with time,
Goals reached even beyond, for an eternal bond.
