Insecure

Shiloh Barney

It seems that the one thing I'm so insecure about is the thing others tease me about.

What they don't realize is that I've picked at this issue like a scab.


It's bled, scarred, and continued to exist but never heal.

Just when it heals,

You choose to hurt.

It's like I've been cut wide open.

Yet all you can focus on is how wide I am.


Not how damaged.
