Guilt

I drag the blade,
the red liquid flowing down.
It feels nice, but only in the moment.
I hide the blade, pull my sleeve down,
to hide what I did.
“But why do I feel guilty?”
I wanted this.
I wanted to do this.
“But what will others think?”
They don’t care.
They never did.
“But what about them?”
…They will hurt…
They will ask why…
“So do you regret?”
…Yes…
I feel guilt,
because I hurt them too.
