The Dangling Carrot

Shaun Cloonan 1978 (Fountain Valley)

Emancipation, victimization, declaration of our great nation. Discoloration of the constipation, to my consternation, the holy sanctification of the vast population, only if they present the proper documentation. Polarization of the belief system sanction is a total spiritual justification. It’s the rationalization, proclamation of procrastination, that we’ve signed and dated. Make sure it’s updated or you’ll get a citation, then tried and fined by this new generation, with no inclination, just evil intention, the dangling carrot of lustful temptation. Keep a good reputation as you sit in the station, of the smoking cessation. I need a vacation, a far off destination, where the people are few, and the roads are not new, I’d love to share this with you. But before I go, I just want you to know, a secret that I’ve never shared before. This world doesn’t care, and won’t shed a tear, especially when you’re in the middle of your own personal nightmare. When you desperately need someone near, cause you feel like your hearts gonna tear, and seems like it’s more than you can bare, and what you wouldn’t give to share …. You’re not alone, even when it’s all that you’ve known. It’s a common delusion that fear like to sow, and plays it’s music of sadness, the song filled with woe. Cause it’s always the darkest before the sweet dawn, so don’t stay stagnant, keep moving along.
