Coalesce

I hear birds again,
my baggage and cat will be at my side.
I will leave my lonely homestead
at midnight, when sleepless ghosts have risen.
Over mountains and in valleys,
across forests and in deserts
to the countryside where
I have smitten my beloved,
I won't wait for daybreak.
And curious one dare ask of my journey,
I shall say, hey you,
my family candles are burning,
mice and cats playing in one box.
While classic songs are sounding,
and they're embracing with genuine warmth,
while they dine in wooden cabins
and can see clearly in huge fogs,
while they know they don't know tomorrow
and for that, show last affections,
Should I live in this hut alone?
Solitude can't cage me like a bird.
I need a lavish dinner today.
