Good bye dear old friend

A part of my life more than 40 years,
we’ve shared love, laughs and also tears,
traveling through all the stuff that came
our bond was there to always remain.

From the start when we had met,
I knew you would try to make all glad,
sharing everything you possibly could
just to be sure that the other felt good.

You’ve been there for all generations,
tried to fulfill even high expectations,
you took great care of things to be done,
whether for business or just making fun.

You may not have managed all you still wanted,
but here are the seeds that you have planted,
and you will live on in each of our hearts,
so the love that you gave, it never parts.

After all your works, be at peace and rest,
you’ve been great, have given your best.
Your loved ones you’ve left here behind,
will remember you as true loving and kind.
