Dead Men Whispering

Dead men, they tell us how they died
dead women, dead children too
they whisper their last moments
to our eyes.

Bullet, boot, blade
fist, ficelle
strangling grip.

Open wounds, hidden holes
bruised and blotched
telltale marks whisper their last moments
inner liquids leaking out
for justice shout.
