Heart Of Life

I walked the streets at night,
Through the neon glow and cigarette smoke,
Lost in the cacophony of voices,
The beat of the city pulsing in my veins.

I saw the faces of the forgotten,
The invisible ones, the outcasts,
The lost souls wandering alone,
Searching for something they couldn't name.

The city was alive with energy,
A living, breathing organism,
Full of contradictions and complexity,
A microcosm of humanity.

There, the young dream and the old remembered,
The rich flaunted their wealth,
While the poor struggled to survive,
And the artists created their masterpieces.

The city was a jungle, a maze,
A place of both beauty and ugliness,
But in its chaos, there was a strange kind of order,
A rhythm that beat to the heart of life.

This is the city I used to call my home,
A place that both embraced and challenged me,
A place that has shaped me and made me who I am,
A place where anything was possible.
