Trigger Happy

Don't jump the gun, it might go off
And scare away the crowd,
But not before they glare and scoff
At you for being loud.

How dare you interrupt their day.
It wasn't what they planned!
It doesn't matter what you say,
For they won't understand.

Just put the gun back where it goes
And don't use it too soon,
Because your trigger finger shows
You're itching for High Noon.
