My journey

My journey©

Through mines and thorns, I walk
Above the drones and bombs, I talk
Across corpses and skeletons, I walk
To those unseen, I talk.

Do you know what shoes I wear to walk?
Do you hear my voice as I talk?
Do you feel my ache as I walk?
Can you hear my pain as I talk?

Through paths unknown, I walk
To friends unseen, I talk
To the fields ahead I walk
And to the shadows there, I talk.

Come stroll with me as I walk
Whisper kind words as we talk
Calmly hold my hands on this walk
That we may hear what we say, as we talk.
