Song # 24

Yes, my heart is hurting now,
And my mind is all confused.
And my tears do not allow
Any fun; my soul is bruised.

I do walk, but it's a wonder
For my legs are soft and weak.
I should die; dead is my mother.
I'm so pained I cannot speak!

Oh, the world seems it is ending,
And that life has gone quite mad.
And that things are quite revolving.
Lo, poor me immensely sad!

Chorus:
Mother, mother you are dead!
Mother, mother you are gone!
I'm about to lose my head!
You are deceased, my precious sun!
