SUNSHINE

Open your eyes my darling
A brand new day is dawning
Look outside your window pane
See only sunshine, no rain
The sun has risen on this glorious new day
And a new adventure is coming your way
So open wide those soulful eyes
And meet the worlds’ daily surprise
Put your heart and soul into the light
As the sun fills the sky so bright
No clouds to be seen
No doubt in the air
Open your eyes to the sunshine
She will always be there .

About this poem

I used to be called someone’s sunshine..I always was. And he said I always would be even if the clouds were out….the sun was still shining..behind the clouds
