God is able

Johnny Echols 1969 (Tuskeegee)

One situation after another has you wondering what you have done.

See your fighting demons that have no conscience , and he take  lives just for fun .

The enemy is the devil and his job is to destroy your life .

He's going to tempt you and plant bad seeds causing you mischief , headaches  and strife .

He's trying to make you give up , he knows exactly what makes you weak .

He wants to make you feel helpless and defensless to the point where you can't speak .

Your mother can not help you and your earthly father is not equipped.

The devil is like a pirate that stills your joy ,pretends he is leaving and sinks the ship .

The only weapon that is efficient hung on a cross and shed his blood .

He created the world and all that's in it smiled and said it's good .

I love to call Him in the morning, and in the afternoon I call on Him again .

He fight those battles that are spiritual warfare and He calls Himself my friend .

About this poem

A poem that was made to encourage someone that is ready to give up , to keep on holding on because some of our battles can only be won by God .
