A band emerges from the dark
Each looking like they are
From another time
With pale faces
Along with hair that covers their eyes
In the dark of the night
The four sang songs
For the lost souls
They give the souls hope
Whereas hope is hard to find
The singer speaks to them
He saves them from the hatred
The motley band makes an anthem
For a generation
As well as generations after that
The band that reminds
People of vampires
Has made an empire for itself with their music
Their names are known all over the world
They give people hope
And I am one of those people
Who needs them the most
