"Beneath the Chains, I Rise"
In life's classroom, lessons unfold,
Unimagined truths, stories untold,
Love and sacrifice, my constant strife,
Hoping for more, yet blessed with this life.
Life's unforgiving truths, I have known,
Undeserving, but taught as life's shown,
No discrimination, it deals its hand,
Regardless of its worth, it makes a stand.
Inner strength, a companion since youth,
Enduring more in moments, a bitter truth,
Heartaches unspeakable, darkness so deep,
Love within, stronger, a promise to keep.
Lessons of sacrifice, life continues to teach,
Exhausted, I retreat, wisdom I beseech,
Sheltering myself, gathering strength anew,
To bear the burden, cast on me, so true.
A mess, my life, a looming despair,
The path ahead, a burden I must bear,
Madness surrounds, chains that confine,
Break free, find solace, a life that's mine.
The darkness cast, I shall not hold,
Unburdened, free, my spirit bold,
With resilience as my guiding light,
I'll reclaim my life, and emerge from this night.
I'll forge a path, breaking the chains that bind,
Embrace the light, the freedom I find,
No longer a captive to others' strife,
I'll rise, reclaiming my true life.
